Introduction The Mapping Department of the Taney County Assessor's Office is a public office, therefore all of our information is considered open records. The Mapping Department has property ownership records. If you would like to know who is the owner of a particular piece of property, or have a question as to why someone's name is or is not on a piece of property, we should be able to answer those questions for you. You may need to come in and show us on a map where the property in question is located. We also have property line & aerial maps of the entire county. These maps are computer generated with our GIS system. The quality of these new GIS maps are superior to that of the old "blue line" maps. Please stop by our office and see our map options utilizing our GIS system. Our map pricing: · $2 for 8.5 x 11 (in inches) · $4 for 11 x 17 (in inches) For more information on GIS and its applications, please see the Taney County GIS Home Page. Our maps are for tax purposes only. They are not for use in land disputes and / or conveyances. |
